The Academy orchestra performs concerti classics with young virtuoso musicians! A special treat will be a debut performance by Cameron Fuller who will perform the Capuzzi Double Bass Concerto with the Academy Orchestra. Cameron graduates this year.
Violinist Tabitha Rea will play the Vivaldi Violin Concerto Opus 7 No. 11 accompanied by the Junior Academy Ensemble of 10 young musicians.
Led by Amelia Piscitelli, the Academy Orchestra will perform the Handel's Water Music.with double dotted flare including the famous Air and Hornpipe. It will be a wonderful string orchestra concert with virtuoso soloists performing lyrical classics and concerti.
The Camerata Chicago Academy Orchestra is Ensemble-in-Residence at Gary Methodist Church, Wheaton.
