ABOUT ABOUT

Enjoy a fabulous performance of Handel’s Messiah (Christmas) and the Hallelujah Chorus. The Camerata Chicago Choir, formed three years ago and including many of Chicago's top choristors, returns with five excellent soloists:

Robin Wiper, Soprano
Asher Moses, Boy Soprano
Sarah Holman, Mezzo-soprano
Jonathan Johnson, Tenor
Gerard Sundberg, Baritone

Musicologist Professor Jonathan Saylor will give a fascinating preconcert talk about Handel and The Messiah at 2:15 pm. The talk is included in your ticket.

You will be treated to a special appearance of boy soprano Asher Moses who will sing the part of The Angel.

At this concert the Camerata Chicago Orchestra and Choir will perform the famous and celebrated Hallelujah Chorus. We’ll perform it twice – the second time for you to join in for a truly rousing finale to this fabulous sacred music performance.

Sponsored by the Tyndale House Foundation and the Savegnago Family Partnership, this performance includes a twenty-five member professional chorus and the Camerata Chicago chamber orchestra conducted by Drostan Hall.

Discount coupon codes are available only online and not at the door.
